New Students
For students who are brand new students, who never applied to college below (Including LCC) will need to follow the steps listed below:

You will need to apply to the college, which you can do here - http://www.lcc.edu/admissions/. For more information about receiving Financial Aid at LCC, you can go to the Financial Aid website located here - http://www.lcc.edu/finaid/.

After you have applied to the college, you will need to do your Placement Testing at the Assessment Center.
Please note: Placement tests can be waived under certain circumstances. To see if you qualify for a waiver, visit - http://www.lcc.edu/advising/waivers.aspx. -
Right after placement testing, the Assessment Center will send new students to the Academic Advising Center to sign up for Orientation, more information can be found here - http://www.lcc.edu/orientation.

Generally we recommend students to schedule an appointment to meet with an Academic Advisor to make sure the student is progressing and is on track for graduating or transferring out.
