Michael T. Gilreath

Michael has been associated with the Business & Community Institute since 1990. A senior member of the American Society for Quality, Michael is certified as both a Quality Engineer and a Six Sigma Black Belt. He has provided consulting and training in all aspects of Lean, Six Sigma, and Quality Assurance to over 100 organizations including healthcare, education, and manufacturing. Michael's career began with 20 years' experience within General Motors as an SPC Coordinator, Suggestions Analyst and Education & Training Coordinator. Michael has also taught classes for LCC in Quality Assurance, Statistical Problem Solving, and Probability and Statistics.

Terrence has been associated with Lansing Community College since 1995. He holds a National Leadership Development Certification through Phi Theta Kappa, AchieveGlobal Leadership certification, Development Dimensions International (DDI) certification, and an Online Teaching Certification through Michigan Virtual University/Lansing Community College. Terrence is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a B.S. in Computer Science and is currently pursuing a Masters in Educational Technology at Western Michigan University.

Tarence Lauchie

Tarence has been with the Business & Community Institute since 1999. He serves clients as a classroom trainer and workforce performance and learning consultant. His areas of expertise include management and leadership development, non-technical aspects of quality improvement, customer service and communication skills. His clients have included manufacturing, health, and service organizations. Tarence is certified to deliver Development Dimensions International (DDI), AchieveGlobal, and Inscape Publishing training materials. He is also a certified Business Development Counselor with the U.S. Small Business Association. Since 1989, Tarence has conducted numerous workshops, seminars, classes and keynote addresses covering topics such as Leadership Skill Development, Behavioral Profiling, Attitude, Customer Service, Change, Goal Setting, Strategic Planning, Team Building, Interpersonal Communications, Problem Solving/Conflict Resolution, Entrepreneurship and the Fundamentals of Public Speaking.


Ronald P. Michalzuk

Ron has been providing training and consulting in Project Management, Quality Systems, Quality Tools and Continuous Improvement efforts since 1994. He primarily focuses on the Five-Core Automotive tools with special emphasis on DFMEA and PFMEA, APQP, PPAP and Structures Problem Solving.  Ron is a certified Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute, a Six Sigma certified Black Belt and is certified through AIAG and GM in the areas of PFMEA and DFMEA.

Susan Mutty

Susan has been with the BCI since 1984. Her areas of expertise include all facets of leadership and management development, communication, human relations, career and personal development, and non-technical aspects of quality improvement. Her clients have included dozens of organizations of all types, including the UAW, General Motors, the State of Michigan, Lansing Board of Water and Light, City of East Lansing, and the Michigan Hospital Association. Susan facilitate LCC's Community Leadership Development Academy from 1991 through 1998. She is a member of the International society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) and has earned the designation of Certified Performance Technologist from that organization. She is also certified to administer the Myers-Briggs Type indicator, Zenger-Miller, PRISM/CLS Team Achievement and Quality Improvement training materials, and is certified Master Trainer for Development Dimensions International (DDI).

Nancy Ohle

Nancy has 20+ years' experience in Organizational Development, specifically working in team-building and team leadership efforts. She began her career in healthcare Human Resources and ran both clinical and soft skills education for Saginaw Osteopathic Hospital. She has consulted in a variety of industries and worked worldwide, having long-term project both in North America and China. Nancy has worked for a variety of healthcare clients including Mid-Michigan Regional Medical Center, St. Mary's of Michigan Saginaw and Standish, Mary Freebed Hospital, and numerous long-term rehab facilities.

Bill Roeser brings 30 years of experience in quality and productivity improvement applications, having worked with over 175 companies in the aerospace, automotive, biotechnology, chemical processing, and related manufacturing industries. His educational background in mechanical engineering has provided the foundation for success in conducting customized education and training programs for area businesses. Bill has earned recognition as an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, ISO 9000 Leader Auditor, Plexus Certified trainer/Coach, Senior Engineer for Lean Manufacturing, DDI Learning Systems Facilitator and Professor of Applied Technology at Lansing Community College.
