Lean Champion for the Supply Chain

Lean Champion for the Supply Chain is an application based training program to prepare participants to implement, maintain and improve the flow of products, services and information throughout the supply chain. They will learn and apply guiding principles, tools and techniques of Lean to provide greater value by reducing costs and continuously improving value streams.

Key Supply Chain Management concepts taught include:

  • Creating and managing seamless, value-added processes across organizational boundaries to meet the real needs of the end customer
  • Voluntary and trust-based relationships with supplier and customer firms
  • Lead time reduction and matching demand to capacity
  • Supply chain operations based on the SCOR* model: plan, source, make, deliver and return
  • Going Green throughout the supply chain
