Preparing
for the Interviewing Process
Read the questions below. Record the questions on a tape
recorder, leaving space to answer the questions to simulate
an interview setting. Now sit in front of a mirror and
answer the questions, or ask a friend to listen to you. If
you want a formal rehearsal ask our office to interview you,
or do a video taping.

When you answer these
questions, avoid a one sentence response and negative
answers that reflect poorly on your company, manager or
co-workers. If you are directly asked a negative question,
such as your weaknesses, start with a positive. Briefly
describe the behaviors and how you are overcoming the
situation.
