Quick Start Guide for Off Campus Job Postings

New Users: Please use the Create Account link to register. Be sure to complete all required information indicated by a red asterisk (*) on the registration profile. IMPORTANT: You must be a current or past LCC student in order to use CES JobLink.

Registered Users: Please use the User ID and Password you created when you set up your account.

Update Your Profile

  • Go to: lcc.experience.com

  • Log into your CES JobLink account

  • Select View/Edit Profile Data under the Profile tab on the gray navigation bar

  • Click on the link to the profile subsection you want to edit, just below the subsection heading at the top of the page

  • Click the Edit link at the top of the section

  • Next, update the information, being sure to leave the required fields filled. These fields are marked by a red asterisk

  • When you are done making changes, click Save at the bottom of the page

Upload A Document

  • Select Upload a Document under the Documents tab on the gray navigation bar
  • Select the type of document you are going to upload and click Next
  • Click Browse under Select the Document to Upload
  • Locate the file you want to upload in the browser window, then click Open
  • Make sure you selected the correct file, then click Upload

Publish a Resume to a Resume Book

  • Click Publish a Resume under the Documents tab on the gray navigation bar
  • In the Additional Resume Books section, find the resume book you would like to publish your resume to and select the resume you would like to publish from the dropdown menu in the Publish Resume column
  • Confirm that you have selected the desired resume and resume book, then click Save at the bottom of the page

Search for Jobs and Internships

  • Use the Basic Search to search by Keywords, Job Function and/or Location
  • Select Job/Internship Search under the Jobs & Internships tab on the gray navigation bar
  • Next, fill in the fields under Basic Search (too many criteria may limit results)
  • After selecting your job search criteria, click Search
  • To view the details of the jobs, hover your mouse over or click on the Job Title in the Jobs column
  • Some other job searches you may use are 1-Click Searches, Search Forms or Previously Saved Searches

Search for Employers

  • Select Employers Search under the Employers tab on the gray navigation bar
  • Decide which method you would like to use to search for the employer
        A.    By the first letter of the employer's name (Click the letter you would like to search by)
        B.    By criteria: employer name, employer industry, or number of employee (enter the desired criteria)
  • Click Search
  • Click on the Employer's name to view the employer profile

Creating and Using Search Agents

  • Select Job/Internship Search under the Jobs and Internships tab on the gray navigation bar
  • Conduct a job search using either the Basic Search, a Search Form, or a 1-Click Search (see the Search for Jobs and Internships section above to learn how to conduct a job search)
  • After search results have loaded, click Save Your Search directly under the Search Results heading in the top left hand corner of the page
  • Name the search, choose whether to receive email notification of job matches (this allows you to receive notification of new jobs that match your criteria), and select the job source in the Show Me Jobs...section
  • When all the information has been filled in, click Save at the bottom of the page

Creating a Favorite Jobs Folder

  • Search for Jobs (see the Search for Jobs and Internships section above)
  • On the Search Results page select the checkbox to the left of the job(s) you want to save to a folder
  • In the drop down menu located on the right side just above the Search Results table, select Save jobs as favorites, then click Go to the right of the drop down menu
  • Then decide if you want to add the job(s) to an existing folder or a new folder. If creating a new folder, enter a name for the new folder, then click Save at the bottom of the section
  • You will then be brought to the Job Folders page, where a message will confirm that your jobs have been saved. If you created a folder, the new folder will appear in the Your Folders table.
