This forensic science class will teach you how science is used to solve crimes. As a beginning forensic scientist, you will piece together the facts concerning what has happened in a suspected criminal case using the scientific method. You will perform several chemical experiments, including toxicology, chromatography, and blood analyses. Fingerprint and document analysis will also be performed in your search for the truth. You will practice problem-solving skills, directly experience real-life applications of science, and learn about exciting careers in forensic science.
