The Financial Aid Process

Step 1 - Submit Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the Priority FAFSA File Date.

Step 2 - Review Financial Aid Status in Banner web self service and complete any requested requirements by the Priority Document Submit Date.

Step 3 - Financial Aid Office will determine eligibility once all requirements are processed.

Step 4 - View your financial aid awards, and Accept/Decline student loans in Banner web self service.

Step 5 - Check Banner web self service for any additional requirements, updates, and processing information.

Step 6 - Refer to Student Finance for refunds, FACTS Payment Plan, and Lansing CC Debit Card information.
