A network account is assigned to every LCC student and employee. A network account allows you to open and use network applications and print files. You must login to the campus network in order to access various computing resources.
Your network login and password are:
Your Technology User ID (TUID) and password.

Click on the topics below for information about how to access and use the campus network
Like all other systems you must log out when you are finished. The LCC Acceptable Use Policy states that users are responsible for all activities that occur on any LCC account to which they are assigned. If you don't log out and someone else uses the computer, you run the risk that violations caused by the other person will be attributed to you.
When you are finished using an LCC computer, whether it is in a computer classroom or lab or office, it is your responsibility to logout of the network or shut down the computer.
Steps to log off the network:
- Click the Start button on the taskbar.
- Click Shut Down.
- Click the drop-down arrow associated with the question, "What do you want the computer to do?", and select Log off <your TUID> or Shut down.
- Click OK.
If you are an employee of the college, refer to On-campus Printing and Networked Files (Faculty and Staff) for more information.
