Protecting your PC has become a very important user task. The threats to the security of your computer can come from many different directions. Viruses, Spyware and Phishing attacks are the names given to some of these threats and they arrive in your email, in your web browser, over the network and from peer-to-peer file sharing. All computers need to have protections in place to keep these threats away. All computers need to be running an anti-virus program, be scanned for spyware, and if you have highly sensitive information, you should also run a firewall for additional protection.
