2014-2015 Academic Year

Please be advised that Reading, Writing and/or Math Accuplacer levels will be required to receive articulated college credit if the college courses articulated require them. This will go into effect for the 2014/2015 academic year. This means students must take the Accuplacer and achieve the required levels before the end of the high school year (ACT Scores can be used to waive the required levels). Please go to http://www.lcc.edu/advising/waivers.aspx for more details concerning the assessment process.

High School Articulation

Articulation is a term used to describe the process that facilitates the transition of a student from one educational institution to another or from one level of education to the next with minimal duplication of coursework. When referring to articulation from high school (secondary) to college (post-secondary), we refer to this as Free College Credit.
