General Sale Information

Where and when does the sale take place?

The Big Book Bash 2013 public sale will take place Saturday, November 2 - Saturday, November 11 at the LCC Library during regular Library hours. The Library is located on the 2nd floor of the Abel B. Sykes Technology and Learning Center Building on LCC's downtown campus.

There is an invitation only Library Friends pre-sale prior to the public sale.

Can you tell me if you have a specific item?

We do not record the titles of items that appear in the sale.

How are the items organized?

Sale items are categorized and separated into the broad subject categories PDF. Item categories tend to be less organized as the sale proceeds.

Can you hold items for me?

We will not hold or pull items that have not been paid for. It is possible to make arrangements for the Library to hold items you have paid for, for up to 1 hour provided there is room and staff available.

What types of payment are accepted?

Cash, check, and StarCard payments are accepted.

Where do the proceeds from the sale go?

All sale proceeds are deposited in the Library Program Fund with the goal of improving the Library with LCC students in mind.


What is Hoarding?

To facilitate equal access to sale materials and offer a positive experience for sale goers, hoarding is not tolerated at the Big Book Bash.
