Create a Link to the LINKS Tutorial

LINKS: Your Guide to Finding Information is designed to teach LCC students basic library and research skills. It is composed of six interactive modules which each take 15-20 minutes complete followed by short quizzes.  You can create a link to the entire tutorial or to individual modules.

Modules:

1. Choosing Sources
2. Creating a Search Strategy
3. Using the Library Catalog
4. Finding Articles in Databases
5. Using the Web
6. Citing Sources

Instructors often ask students to complete the LINKS tutorial and follow up by setting up a library instruction session.

Caution: Open LINKS in New Window

When you add a Quicklink to the LINKS tutorial in Desire2Learn, make sure to check the box to "Open in New Window." If LINKS does not open in a new window, students will not be able to take any of the quizzes.
