Frequently Asked Questions
What if the title I want to show isn't in the LCC collection?
Make the request to the Classroom Video staff and they will attempt to locate the tape at a local video rental store. If there is enough lead time and the title will be used on a regular basis, Marc Smyth will pursue the purchase of the title.
What if I need to show a video in an area that doesn't have access to the Classroom Video system?
We have a small number of portable systems that allow us to accommodate those needs.
Can I show my personal tapes and DVDs in my class?
As long as the media was legally obtained and not an illegal copy, you may utilize the Classroom Video system.
What if the program was recorded from PBS or another network?
Off-air recordings can generally be utilized for a 45-day period. After that period of time, they should be erased. For more specific information, please download and view the
