Orientation Waiver
For Guest, Transfer-In & Personal Interest students only.
Lansing Community College does not require orientation for students transferring in or guest students from another institution. However, we invite you to complete orientation online (for students with a Reading Level 5 or higher) or in person to learn more about how to be successful at LCC.
If you applied to the college as a first time college student you will likely have an orientation hold. This will require you to complete orientation before registering for classes. You may also complete the waiver form below to be considered for an orientation waiver.
Most academic courses require a reading, writing or math placement level. The Orientation Office does NOT grant placement levels. To apply for placement levels with your transcript, click here.
Orientation Waiver
This form must be completed in full and submitted to be considered for an orientation waiver. You must submit all supporting documents with this request. Your request is pending staff approval and will be processed within 3 business days.
