College Parking Rates
The following rates will be charged in all Student Lots owned by LCC (Gannon Ramp, Lot U, and Lot F)
StarCard Rate (Rates are in effect from 7am to 11pm)
$.40 per half hour, or any portion thereof, up to eight hours.
$.80 per hour starting with the eighth hour.
$8.80 maximum daily rate.
(Parking rate enforcement times are subject to change at LCC's discretion-It is the customer's responsibility to remain aware of current parking rates).
Cash Rate (Rate is in effect from 7am to 11pm)
$1.40 per hour.
$10.00 maximum daily rate
City of Lansing Parking Rates
The following rates will be charged in the North Capitol Ramp, owned and operated by the City of Lansing.
StarCard Rate (Rates are in effect from 7am to 10pm)
$.80 per hour or any portion thereof.
Cash Rate (Rates are in effect 8 am to 10 pm)
First 1/2 hour free
$1.00 per 1/2 hour thereafter.
$8.25 maximum daily rate.
Please be aware that the no access is allowed in or out of the North Capitol Ramp between 10pm and 6am the following day. The North Capitol Ramp is locked and closed on holidays and weekends.
CATA Clean Commute Card
Time to go Green!
LCC and CATA have partnered together to Go Green at LCC with the CATA Clean Commute Card available at Parking & ID Services!
If you carpool with at least one other person each semester, then the CATA Clean Commute Card is your best option! The card provides a $.20 per hour discount in all LCC paid parking areas (Gannon Ramp, Lot F, and Lot U) Monday through Thursday and a $.10 cent per hour discount on Fridays.
To get a CATA Clean Commute Card visit cata.org and sign up as a Carpooler with CATA's Clean Commute Options Program, then present a valid drivers' license, passport, or other acceptable form of picture identification at Parking & ID Services. All individuals that are carpooling must be a valid Lansing Community College student or employee. For sign up and further Clean Commute Options information...
The first card is a one-time $5 fee. Lost, stolen or damaged cards are subject to a $15 replacement fee.

If you park more than 20 hours a week on campus consider purchasing the Student Semester Parking Card!

The Student Semester Parking Card is a card that can be purchased by current students for parking in the Gannon Ramp during the purchased semester. A truly great value for students who are on campus more than 20 hours a week! The Student Semester Parking Card can be purchased at Parking & ID Services on the 2nd floor of Gannon building.
Summer Semester: $150.00
Fall Semester: $300.00
Spring Semester: $300.00
1)The Student Semester Parking Card does not
guarantee a parking space in any authorized parking structures
(Gannon Parking Ramp).
2) If a card is lost or stolen, a new card may be purchased for the original price of $300 for Fall or Spring semesters, and $150 for Summer semester, no matter when the original card was lost or stolen. All prices are subject to change by Lansing Community College.
3) Damaged cards are subject to a $15 re-issue charge. The damaged card must be surrendered to Parking & ID Services in order to receive the replacement card.
4) No value can be added to the Student Semester Parking Card.
