23 Years of Celebrating Jazz in Lansing

Lansing JazzFest 2017Lansing JazzFest returns to Old Town, Friday, August 4th and Saturday, August 5th. Celebrating its 23nd year, Lansing JazzFest is one of Michigan’s longest running free celebration of jazz. Thousands will descend on the corner of Turner and Grand River not only to enjoy great music but also great food, craft vendors, children’s activities, river boat rides and more. Among this year’s performers: PanaMO, Organissimo, Wess “Warmdaddy” Anderson, and the Bill Heid Trio Lansing JazzFest, produced by the Michigan Institute for Contemporary Art and sponsored by LCC Radio. HEADS UP -- the series has moved to Jaycee Park this year. Even though we're in a new location, the show still gets underway every Thursday at 7pm and it's still free!
