Hosted by Lansing Community College, this year's conference Make a Difference: Leadership • Inclusion • Connections offers an exciting and unique opportunity to connect with professionals working to enhance, improve and evolve higher education.


About MI-ACE Network 2015 Conference

The MI-ACE Women's Network annual conference is designed by women in higher education for women in higher education, and for those who share their mission, to provide opportunities for professional development in an environment that values connection, inclusiveness, and developing leadership potential. Sessions are tailored with the goal of bringing women together with their peers to engage on topics impacting women in academe today, including issues around public policy and women's equity. Through this active collaboration, the MI-ACE Women's Network strives to improve the climate, and enhance professional recognition and career advancement for women working in all of Michigan's public and private colleges and universities.

The Michigan ACE Network is committed to identifying, developing the leadership of, advancing, and supporting the retention of women in higher education throughout the state. The MI-ACE Women's Network 2015 Annual Conference provides a place where Michigan women leaders may find opportunity for professional development, networking, mentoring, advocacy, and support. It will allow time for those who attend to learn new leadership strategies and network with other women in leadership positions across the state.

Call for 2015 Proposals

Call for Proposals are open now

The 2015 Michigan ACE Women's Network Conference takes place June 8-9, 2015 at the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center in East Lansing, MI. The link above is the Call for Presentations for concurrent sessions, which will be part of the conference's program on June 9. Selected sessions will focus on themes of the conference:

  • Leadership
  • Inclusion
  • Connections

we encourage you to include how your presentation exemplifies one of these themes in the description/abstract.

The deadline for submission is March 13, 2015 at noon. Applicants will be notified of proposal status by March 27, 2015. All sessions will be 60 minutes in length. Proposals should be submitted to Margie Clark, 2015 Conference Planning Committee chair, at MI-ACE2015-Conference@star.lcc.edu

Hotel Details:

There is a room block for participants at the Michigan State University Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center at 219 Harrison Rd, East Lansing, MI 48823. The cost is $ 105 per night. Please contact the hotel directly at (800) 875-5090 and mention the MI-ACE Conference to obtain this reduced rate. This rate is in effect until May 7, 2015.
