Recipients must be enrolled in a LCC transfer or liberal arts curriculum and be working towards their first degree. They may have any residency status and must have and maintain a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA.
Business & Economics
General
- Allegra Print and Imaging of Okemos Scholarship
Recipients must be minority students enrolled in a business program and be pursuing their first degree. - American Institute of Banking, Lansing , MI Chapter Scholarship
Students must show an interest in business and finance programs/careers. Recipients must be in-district residents and carry a minimum of 12 credits. Consideration will be given to students having financial need. - Capitol Bancorp Community Service Endowed Scholarship
Recipients must be enrolled in a business program and may reside in or out of district. Students must maintain a minimum 2.4 GPA. Financial need is considered. Recipients must have demonstrated volunteer service (may be any form of service; not limited to any specific organization) to support the betterment of their community. Recipients will be asked to visit Capitol Bancorp executives after acceptance of award. - CEO Network Scholarship
Recipients must be a resident of the tri-county area, carry a minimum of 6 credits, and have a 2.5 or better GPA. Preference will be given to students pursuing a first degree in any business curriculum. - Dean F. George and Doris M. Hopkins Scholarship
Recipients must be enrolled in a business program and have demonstrated high academic achievement for at least one year at LCC. They must have and maintain a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA and be enrolled in at least 8 credits. - Frandorson/Corr - Endowed Management Scholarship
Recipients shall be in-district residents interested in obtaining an associate or bachelor degree in management, marketing, business, or shopping center management. Recipients must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and enroll in a minimum of 12 credits. - Frank and Sophia Tegge Scholarship for Business/Finance
This scholarship is available to students pursuing an education in business/finance. Students must be in-district residents, enroll for a minimum of 12 credits, and have a minimum cumulative 2.75 GPA. Financial need will be considered. - George and Marilyn Nugent and Family Banking and Finance
Scholarship

This scholarship is available to students pursuing an education in business. Recipients must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and carry a minimum of 6 credits. Consideration will be given those with financial need. - Greater Lansing Board of Realtors Education Foundation
Scholarship
Recipients must be enrolled in real estate classes at LCC and have a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA. - James L. Reutter Business and Technology Careers Scholarship
Scholarship recipients shall be enrolled in a Business or Technology Careers program and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA. Those individuals must live in-district. Recipients shall demonstrate financial need. - Koks/Winegardner Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship is intended for students enrolled in a business management program. Recipients must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 credits and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA. - Maldonado Scholarship by Drs. W. E. and Sarah Maldonado
Scholarship awards will be awarded to students enrolled for a minimum 12 credits in LCC's business programs. Preference will be given to Hispanic students entering college for the first time with a minimum 3.0 GPA. - PNC Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students enrolled in a LCC entrepreneurial studies or financial management program with a minimum of six credits. Recipients must demonstrate financial need and have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. - Richard and Olivia Letts Scholarship
This scholarship provides tuition and fees for disadvantaged students enrolled in a Business program. Students must enroll for a minimum of 6 credits.
Accounting
- Accounting Scholarship
Recipients must have taken ACCT 210 & 211 and achieved a 3.0 GPA or better. Students must be enrolled for a minimum of 6 credits. - Dr. Ronald K. Edwards Memorial Scholarship

Benson
Recipients shall be African American students enrolled in the Accounting program. Students shall live in-district, enroll in at least 12 credits, and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. - State Association of Accountants, Auditors and Business

Recipients must be an accounting major and demonstrate financial need.
Hospitality, Travel, and Tourism

Scholarship
Recipients shall be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits in the Hotel/Motel/Food Service Management Program. Applicants must be in-district residents and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Financial need will be taken into consideration. - Lansing Area Travel Agents Scholarship
Students must be enrolled in the Travel and Tourism program. A minimum 2.5 GPA is required. - LeRoy and Lois Henry Family Scholarship
Recipients must be enrolled in the Hotel-Lodging/Food Management Program with a minimum of six credits, maintain a 2.5 GPA and demonstrate financial need.
Marketing & Advertising

Fund
This scholarship is intended for students in the marketing & sales career programs or health careers programs with in-district residency. - Gerald Edward Hause Marketing and Sales Scholarship
This scholarship is intended for students pursuing their first educational degree who are enrolled in marketing or sales courses. Recipients shall enroll for a minimum of 12 credits and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Consideration will be given to students with financial need. - John and Martha Aldinger Endowed Scholarship
Recipients shall be pursuing advertising or a related curriculum. Students may enroll in a minimum of 6 credits and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA. - Lansing Advertising Club Scholarship
Recipients must be enrolled in fields of study leading to a career in advertising such as marketing, graphic design, telecommunications, or other related areas of study. Students must be enrolled for a minimum of 6 credits and have financial need. - Marketing and Sales Scholarship
Students interested in obtaining an associate degree in marketing or sales are encouraged to apply. Applicants must have demonstrated high academic achievement in high school or college and should be recommended by a high school or college counselor, teacher, administrator and/or current employer. - Michael T. Brisbois Sales and Marketing Scholarship
This scholarship is intended for second year students pursuing Sales and Marketing as a major. Recipients shall enroll in a minimum of 12 credits and have a minimum 2.5 GPA.
Communication, Media & the Arts
- 2M - Power Designated Scholarship
Recipients must be residents of the LCC District or Service Area, enrolled in LCC's Communication, Media and Arts Programs with a preference for performance arts (theater, dance, music or stage technology) and have a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA. Enrollment in a minimum of 9 credit hours is required. Financial need will be considered. - Byrne, Machtel, Sargeant Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship is intended for Performing Arts majors. Recipients shall maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA. - Cathy J. Siebert Stratford Festival Award
This scholarship is to be used for transportation, lodging, and theater tickets to attend the Stratford Festival. Students must have passed or be passing ENG 122 with a grade of 2.0 or higher. Selections are made by the travel award committee. Students are required to submit a portfolio from the trip. -
Dance Scholarship
Recipients are selected by the Dance Department. -
Dorothy Harper Jones Dance Scholarship
Recipients shall be a Michigan resident enrolled in the Performing Arts program and shall be of African American descent. -
Elizabeth L. Anderson Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to students enrolled for a minimum of 6 credits in the Arts, Dance, Music or Theater programs. Recipients shall be in-district residents. Financial need will be considered. -
Hal Gross Communications Scholarship
Recipients should be enrolled for a minimum of 12 credits in LCC's Communications or Telecommunications programs or be a graduating high school senior with interest in a career in communications. Recipients shall have a minimum 2.6 GPA. -
Heather Powers Theatre Scholarship
Preference will be given to students participating in the Stratford Experience or British Theater tour. -
James P. Platte Memorial Scholarship
Awards are designated for students in a performing arts, english, or communications program. Recipients must have 24 completed credits, be enrolled in at least 6 credits, and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. -
Michigan Stage Technician Apprenticeship Program Scholarship
Recipients are selected by the program. -
Music Scholarship
Recipients are selected by the Performing Arts Department. -
Performing Arts Scholarship
Recipients are selected by the Performing Arts Department. -
Stan Hartman Memorial Theatre Scholarship
Recipients must be enrolled in their second or third semester of the Theatre Program. Recipients must reside in-district, enroll in a minimum of 12 credits, and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. Financial need is considered. -
Ten Pound Fiddle Coffeehouse Scholarship
Recipients must be enrolled in a Media Technology/Stage Technology program. Recipients must enroll in a minimum of 6 credits. maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA, and have completed MTEC 120 and 122. -
Theater Scholarship
Recipients are selected by the Theater Department. -
Writing Scholarship in Honor of Linda Peckham
Preference given to students enrolled in the Writing for Publications or the Forum for Authors courses.
Math & Computer Science

Accident Fund Insurance Company of America Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students enrolled in an information technology or math program with a minimum of 6 credits. Recipients must maintain a 2.5 GPA. Financial need will be considered. -
Alton and Jan Granger Scholarship
High School graduates who are residents of Ingham, Eaton or Clinton County who are enrolled or planning to enroll in any pre-engineering program. Recipients shall enroll for a minimum of 12 credits and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA. -
Claude Watson Scholarship
Recipients must be enrolled in mathematics/physics, engineering or computer science programs with a minimum enrollment of 6 credits. They must have and maintain a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need. -
Dart Foundation Pre-Engineering Scholarship
This scholarship is intended for in-district students pursuing their first degree and enrolled in any Pre-Engineering program. Recipients shall enroll for a minimum of 6 credits and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. -
John "Tony" Watson Memorial Scholarship Fund
This scholarship is available to students enrolled in the Manufacturing and Engineering program or Healthcare program. Recipients must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA. Financial need is considered. -
TechSmith Corporation Computer Science/Information Technology Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students who are enrolled in a computer science or information technology program and are pursuing their first educational degree. Recipients must be enrolled in a minimum of six credits, maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need.
Science
- Jeff Case Woldumar Internship Award
Recipients selected by the Science Department. Applicants should submit a project proposal of 600 words or less outlining an educational, instructional or improvement project to be completed on site at Woldumar Nature Center.
Social Science & Humanities

Anthony and Ruth Drago Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students enrolled in LCC education or social science programs. Recipients must reside within the LCC district, be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits, maintain a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA, and demonstrate financial need. -
Eva L. Evans Education Scholarship
Scholarship recipients shall be African-American students who intend to enter a 4-year institution in the teaching profession. Recipients shall reside in-district and be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits. Preference will be given to students who have tutored, or will tutor, work on playgrounds, or volunteer in a school setting. -
Fred T. and Hazel P. Trebilcock Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students pursuing a degree in education. Students shall enroll for a minimum of 6 credits. Financial need will be considered. -
Joel Ferguson Government and Public Affairs Scholarship
Students who are enrolled in courses leading to a government or public affairs career should apply. Recipients shall enroll for a minimum of 12 credits. Financial need will be considered.
