Course Offerings
Many of the Humanities courses are offered at LCC throughout the academic year and can be taken to upgrade current skills or fulfill degree, certificate and transfer requirements. HUMS 260 - Ancient Egypt
This course explores developments in Egyptian art and architecture, religion, and kingship. Pyramids, tombs, hieroglyphs and the land of Egypt are emphasized. Great discoveries and discoverers in archaeology, past and present, are also featured. Egyptian monuments and art will be studied in detail. Recommended for students interested in History, Architecture, Art and Religion.
