Lansing Community College Ombudsman-Student Advocate
LCC's Ombudsman-Student Advocate assists students with non-academic Lansing Community College processes and identification of appropriate departments or programs to effectively address educational issues and concerns.
The ombudsman-student advocate is also an "agent for change," recommending modifications and improvements to rules, regulations, policies and procedures which are unclear, inequitable or unfair. The ombudsman-student advocate provides students with information about existing channels for appeals and grievances, support services available at the college, and assists students in the use of these services and procedures.
