NOTES:
1. This transfer guide represents an Articulation (partnership) Agreement
between Lansing Community College and Central Michigan University's Off
Campus Programs (Lansing Site) leading to a Bachelor of Science degree with a
major in Administration. This articulated agreement does not have a specified
expiration date.
2. See the MACRAO Transfer Agreement guide for appropriate LCC courses. Select
one science with a lab to meet the science requirements in CHOICE 1.
3. General Education Requirements for transfer students may be met by:
a. The University Program requirements and competencies may be fulfilled by
students who satisfy the MACRAO Transfer Agreement, or
b. The University Program Transfer Block Option may be fulfilled as
described in the CMU Extended Degree Programs Bulletin, or
c. The entire CMU University Program as described in the CMU Off Campus
Programs Bulletin. Courses are evaluated individually.
4. CMU expects its graduates to demonstrate competency in three areas: English
Composition, Math and Speech. A grade of 2.00 or better in the following
LCC courses will fulfill these competency requirements: WRIT 121/131 and
WRIT/ENGL 122/132; MATH 112, 121 or higher; and SPCH 120 or 130. All
competency courses must be completed by the time that a student completes
56 credit hours.
5. Students may substitute WRIT 131 and 132 or ENGL 122/132 for WRIT 121 and 122.
6. Select one course from: LEGL 215; MGMT 223,224,228 or 229.
7. THIS PROGRAM DOES NOT LEAD TO A BUSINESS DEGREE. Typically, a maximum of 64
semester hours of credit is accepted in transfer from a community college.
The remaining required and elective courses for the bachelor's degree will be
selected in consultation with an academic advisor to ensure that CMU degree
requirements are being met. The bachelor's degree requires a minimum of 124
semester hours of credit. A minimum of 60 credits must be from a four-year
institution, with a minimum of 30 credits earned from CMU.
8. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific graduation
requirements. See the LCC online catalog for details.
9. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
registration. For testing hours call (517) 267-5500.
