NOTES:
1. This transfer guide represents an Articulation (partnership) Agreement between
   the University of Michigan-Flint (UM-Flint) and Lansing Community College 
   (LCC). This articulated agreement is currently under review.  
2. See the University of Michigan-Flint General Education Requirements guide for
   appropriate LCC course selection. Students are encouraged to meet with the 
   advisor listed below when making course selections.
3. The UM-Flint graduation requirements for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing 
   include completion of the General Education requirements specified for the
   School of Health Professions and Studies, required prerequisite courses, and
   RN/BSN program specific courses.
4. LCC students will be guaranteed admission to the UM-Flint RN/BSN program upon
   meeting program admission requirements including:
   a. Meet admissions requirements at UM-Flint.
   b. Be a graduate of a state-approved associate or diploma nursing degree 
      program.
   c. Hold a license as a Registered Nurse in the United States.
   d. Have a grade point average of 2.75.  An applicant with lower than a 2.75
      GPA must complete 9 credits at a "B" (3.0) or better grade prior to 
      enrollment in UM-Flint's NUR 300 course.
   e. Have acceptable Performance Evaluation/References.
   f. Have acceptable disclosure statement and UM-Flint required criminal
      background check. 
5. Dual enrollment as a Guest Student is available to LCC students who wish to 
   begin taking UM-Flint requirements while still taking courses at LCC.  In 
   addition to general education courses, LCC students can take NSC 208 or 209,
   and/or a variety of nursing electives while completing courses in the LCC 
   RN program.
6. Credit by exam (as well as online or on campus options) is available to 
   satisfy the requirements for UM-Flint's NSC 209 Nutrition and NSC 207 
   Pathophysiology.
7. Upon admission to UM-Flint and verification of RN license, 34 credits of NUR
   2XX will be posted for completion of the LCC ADN program along with any other 
   relevant transfer credit.
8. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific graduation
   requirements.  See the LCC Online Catalog for details.
9. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and 
   writing.  To determine accurate course placement, students should take the 
   Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
