NOTES:
1. This transfer guide represents a 3+1 Articulation (partnership) Agreement
between Lansing Community College (LCC) and Davenport University that
facilitates the transfer of 78 LCC credits toward the completion of a
Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Davenport University. This articulated
agreement is currently under review.
2. This guide includes courses for the LCC Nursing, RN Option (0222) guide,
allowing students to simultaneously earn an Associate in Applied Science
degree from LCC while preparing to transfer to Davenport University.
3. Completion of LCC curriculum 0222 fulfills the remaining course requirements
for this transfer guide.
4. Advanced standing is given when an official transcript showing successful
completion of a Registered Nursing program and a copy of the current
Registered Nurse state license are presented. Advanced standing in: Natural
Sciences - 15 credits; Health Related courses - 6 credits; Associate Degree
nursing courses - 44 credits.
5. Students who have a current CPR/BLS and First Aid certifications or equiva-
lent will receive credit for HLTH 100 at Davenport.
6. Davenport offers completion of the BSN online, with clinicals completed at
the student's place of employment. Students who are not proficient in
computer usage (internet searching, word processing, keyboarding skills) are
encouraged to complete CITF 110 at LCC.
7. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific graduation
requirements. See the LCC online catalog for details.
8. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
