REQUIREMENTS
NOTES:
1. This guide represents an Articulation (partnership) Agreement between Lansing
Community College (LCC) and Columbia Southern University (CSU). LCC courses
applicable to the fire science degree are listed in the articulation link
above. The agreement facilitates the transfer of LCC credits toward the
completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Fire Science. This guide includes courses
from LCC curriculum guide 0123 - Fire Science Technology, allowing students to
simultaneously earn an Associate in Applied Science degree while preparing to
transfer to Columbia Southern University. This agreement is in effect for a
maximum of five (5) years - January 2015, at which time it will be reviewed
by both institutions.
2. CSU will accept a maximum of 84 transferable LCC credit hours.
3. CSU is an undergraduate and graduate level institution that is accredited by
the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC). As an accredited,
degree-granting member of the DETC, CSU is also an institutional member of the
Council of Higher Education Accreditation.
4. If an LCC student changes their major when entering CSU, an academic advisor
from CSU will work directly with the incoming student. CSU will endeavor to
maximize credit transfer, but program changes will be evaluated on a case by
case basis.
