TRANSFER GUIDE

NOTES:
1. This transfer guide represents an Articulation (partnership) Agreement
between Lansing Community College (LCC) and Spring Arbor University (SAU)
and is designed to facilitate the transfer of LCC students to SAU. LCC
courses applicable to the Elementary Education program are listed in the
articulation link above. It is agreed that a student may transfer to the SAU
Bachelor of Arts program without duplicate study by following the articulation
plan in the agreement. This agreement is in effect until January 2013.
2. LCC students may transfer to SAU after completing an associate degree and
the following steps:
a. Successfully completion of a minimum of 58 transferable credits;
b. Cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher;
c. Timely submission and approval of all application material, including
a writing sample;
d. Personal interview with a SAU admissions representative and/or advisor.
3. General Education Requirements:
a. Students will have met the general education requirements when transferring
to SAU if the MACRAO Transfer Agreement has been satisfied.
b. Students who have not satisfied the MACRAO Transfer Agreement at LCC
must complete the general education requirements for SAU (see the SAU
articulation agreement in Note 1 for course information).
4. Grades below 2.00 will not transfer. Courses numbered lower than 100
will not transfer. A maximum of 68 semester credits may transfer from a
two-year institution for this major.
5. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific graduation
requirements. See the LCC Online Catalog for details.
