NOTES:
1. This transfer guide represents an Articulation (partnership) Agreement between
Lansing Community College (LCC) and Capella University. This guide facilitates
the transfer of 62 semester credit hours from the LCC Associate in Art degree
in Business & Accounting toward the completion of the Capella University BPA
General Public Administration degree. This articulated agreement does not
have a specific expiration date.
2. Students must graduate from LCC with an associate degree in an approved field
of study with an overall GPA of 2.0, as calculated by LCC.
3. Successful completion of the requirements listed above fulfill the require-
ments for the LCC General Education Core Areas, MACRAO Transfer Agreement and
the lower-division general education requirements for Capella University.
4. Select courses which will satisfy both the Capella General Education and the
MACRAO Transfer Agreement requirements.
5. Students may substitute with WRIT 131 and/or WRIT/ENGL 132.
6. Completion of 3 credits from LCC curriculum 0232-CHOICE 7 will fulfill the
remaining course requirements for this transfer guide.
7. Students who complete the coursework on this transfer guide may be eligible
to receive a LCC Associate Degree. Please contact an advisor for additional
information. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific
graduation requirements. See the LCC Online Catalog for details.
8. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
