NOTES:
1. This transfer guide represents an Articulation (partnership) Agreement between
Lansing Community College (LCC) and Capella University. This guide facilitates
the transfer of 60 semester credit hours from the LCC Associate in Science
Degree in Computer Science (0169) toward completion of the Capella University
Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Information Assurance and
Security (or other specialization) degree.
2. Students must graduate from LCC with an associate degree in an approved field
of study with an overall GPA of 2.0, as calculated by LCC.
3. Select courses which will satisfy both the MACRAO Transfer Agreement and the
Capella University General Education Requirements.
4. Successful completion of the courses listed on this guide fulfill both the
lower-division general education requirements for Capella University and the
MACRAO Transfer Agreement.
5. Students may chose to substitute with MATH 161 and/or 162.
6. Students may chose to substitute with WRIT 131 and/or WRIT/ENGL 132.
7. Completion of 7 credits from LCC curriculum 0169 - III-Electives will fulfill
the remaining course requirements for this transfer guide.
8. Students who complete the coursework on this transfer guide may be eligible
to receive a LCC Associate Degree. Please contact an advisor for additional
information. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific

9. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
