1. This transfer guide represents an Articulation (partnership) Agreement between
Lansing Community College (LCC) and Capella University. This guide facilitates
the transfer of 63-69 semester credit hours from the LCC Associate in Applied
Science degree - Criminal Justice, Corrections (1209) toward the completion of
the Capella University Bachelor of Science in Public Safety. This articulated
agreement does not have a specific expiration date.
2. Students must graduate from LCC with an associate degree in an approved field
of study with an overall GPA of 2.0, as calculated by LCC.

list of LCC course options.
4. Successful completion of the courses listed on this guide fulfill the require-
ments for the LCC General Education Core Areas and the lower-division general
education requirements for Capella University.
5. Completion of 5-8 credits from LCC curriculum 1209-CHOICE 2 fulfills the
remaining course requirements for this transfer guide.
6. Students who complete the coursework on this transfer guide may be eligible
to receive a LCC Associate Degree. Please contact an advisor for additional
information. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific

7. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
