NOTES:
1. This transfer guide represents an Articulation (partnership) Agreement between
Lansing Community College (LCC) and Capella University. This guide facilitates
the transfer of 63-72 semester credit hours from the LCC Associate in Applied
Science Degree in Criminal Justice, Juvenile Specialization (1475) toward
completion of the Capella University Bachelor of Science in Public Safety.
This articulated agreement does not have a specific expiration date.
2. Students must graduate from LCC with an associate degree in an approved field
of study with an overall GPA of 2.0, as calculated by LCC.
3. See the Capella University General Education Requirement guide for a complete
list of LCC course options.
4. Select 3-5 credits from: EDUC 204; PSYC 202,203,205,221,222,250; or SOCL 255.
5. Completion of 7-13 credits from LCC curriculum 1475-CHOICE 2 fulfills the
remaining course requirements for this transfer guide.
6. Students who complete the coursework on this transfer guide may be eligible
to receive a LCC Associate Degree. Please contact an advisor for additional
information. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific
graduation requirements. See the LCC Online Catalog for details.
7. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
