NOTES:
1. This transfer guide represents an Articulation (partnership) Agreement
between Lansing Community College (LCC) and Central Michigan University
CMU. Students who have earned an LCC Associate in Arts - Psychology degree,
and have followed this transfer guide may transfer all credits specified
above towards the Bachelor of Science degree with a Major in Psychology,
General at CMU. This articulated agreement expires 05/31/2014.
2. Successful completion of the courses listed on this guide will meet both
MACRAO and the CMU General Education Requirements. Only courses with a 2.0
or better will transfer and satisfy EMU competency requirements. Any
additional Psychology courses taken may apply to the General Electives and
not the major when transferred to CMU.
3. To complete requirements for graduation from CMU, students who follow this
transfer guide must also:
a) Complete a minimum of 60 academic hours at CMU.
b) Complete the remaining program requirements, distribution requirements and
other major and degree requirements listed in the CMU Off-Campus bulletin.
4. See the MACRAO Transfer Agreement for LCC course options.
5. Do not select GEOG 220, MATH 112 or STAT 170/215 to fulfill this requirement.
6. Do not select any MGMT, PSYC or SPCH course to fulfill this requirement.
7. Do not select ART 102,103,131,132 or SPCH 130.
8. This course is recommended for the Bachelor of Science in Psychology, General
degree. Deviation will result in additional degree requirements at CMU.
9. Although this course satisfies the statistical component associated with the
Psychology major, PSY 211-Introduction to Psychological Statistics at CMU is
the preferred course and better prepares students for PSY 285-Research
Methods at CMU.
10. Select electives with assistance from the contact listed below.
11. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific graduation
requirements. See the LCC online catalog for details.
12. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
registration. For testing hours call (517) 267-5500.
