NOTES:
1. This transfer guide represents a 2+2 Articulation (partnership) Agreement 
   between Kaplan University (Kaplan) and Lansing Community College (LCC) which
   facilitates the transfer of an LCC associate degree toward the completion of
   either a Bachelor of Science in Business or a Bachelor of Science in Informa-
   tion Technology degree at Kaplan. This program is intended to maximize a 
   student's transfer credit, and ensure completion of both prerequisites and 
   general education requirements at the bachelor degree level. This articulated
   agreement does not have a specified expiration date.  
2. To ensure maximum course transferability and prerequisite completion for the 
   Business or Information Technology major, KU recommends completion of the LCC
   Associate in Business Degree for E-Business (0839).
3. Students following LCC curriculum 0839 for the BS in Business should also 
   complete ACCG 210 & 271, MATH 120 or 121, MGMT 225, and WRIT 121 & 122; or 
   complete CITA 110, and WRIT 121 & 122 for the BS in Information Technology 
   prior to transferring to Kaplan.  
4. Admission to Kaplan University:
   a. LCC students who have completed an associate degree program consisting of
      a minimum of 60 semester credits will be eligible for a block transfer 
      of those credits and acceptance into an "advanced start" bachelor degree
      program at KU.
   b. LCC students who have not yet completed an associate degree program must
      submit a letter from the LCC Registrar's Office indicating that the student 
      is in good standing, the expected date of graduation, the expected associ-
      ate degree to be earned, and the program/major.  Upon graduation, the 
      student must submit proof of having been awarded an associate degree.  
5. To meet residency requirements, 45 quarter credits (30 semester credits) must
   be completed at Kaplan.  
6. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific graduations
   requirements.  See the LCC Online Catalog for details.
7. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and 
   writing.  To determine accurate course placement, students should take the 
   Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GVT 200) prior to
