Hello, follow TRiO students. It is hard to believe that six
weeks have past in this semester. I have enjoyed myself very much. This
time around I am more relaxed. I am glad for all the supportive services that I
have let go of a lot of stress associate with my classes. Time management really
helps.
This is my third year with the TRiO program and I often
wonder would I be as far as I am right know if it wasn’t for the wonderful staff
here. Even though I am the one who puts forth the effort it, was the staff that
stood next to me along the way.
For those of you who do not know who I am let me tell you a
little about myself. I am currently working towards my General Associates and an
Associates Degree in Human Services.
I am both a mother and a grandmother. I work in the TRiO
office, and I have an internship at Work First site. I am taking Math 050, Writ
121, Career Planning and a Practicum class.
In my free time I enjoy
watching TV. Lately, I have found a couple of new shows that have been around a
short time and I find them enjoyable. Has anyone else seen The Closer or Saving Grace? They are very good detective shows.
Holly Hunter
(Saving Grace) and Kyra Sedgwick both play strong women in lending
roles and great supporting actors.
