Quiz yourself using the study guides in the book and questions and summaries at the end of the chapters.

Learn the common prefixes or suffixes to group words.

Practice problems, formulae, etc. Make up some, if necessary; trade with a study partner; use time drills.

Analyze before you compute; estimate first. Is your answer reasonable?
