Communication, Journalism, and Language

All of the programs in this Career Community offer a path to transfer into a four-year or bachelor's degree program. Programs in this Career Community can lead to work in areas such as advertising, broadcasting, journalism, public relations, publishing, or translating/interpreting. You can also focus on preparing to enter a teacher preparation program for secondary certification or a program focusing on communication disorders, or you could move into careers in government and other areas of public service. You can even decide to focus on Sign Language interpreting with options to work across a variety of fields immediately on completion of your degree. We also offer an Enhanced Degree that allows you to complete additional courses here at LCC that will transfer into your bachelor's degree program.
