Lansing Community College to Host Manufacturing Day Event on October 7

October 6, 2016

Lansing Community College (LCC) will host students, lawmakers and community leaders for a Manufacturing Day event tomorrow morning as part of an effort to draw greater attention to the outstanding opportunities that a career in manufacturing can provide.

During their visit, attendees will be introduced to the various careers available in manufacturing. They will observe cutting edge technology in the learning labs which are modeled after today’s highly automated manufacturing facilities. They will also have an opportunity to get hands-on experience working with advanced systems. The equipment that they will work with is new, cutting edge, and of the same type used in advanced manufacturing facilities around the country.
